What we know about the OnePlus 8 series?

Even before the official release, the OnePlus 8 series is the current buzz of the technology world. Here are the few things we know about the OnePlus 8 series.

The looks of OnePlus 8 differ from OnePlus 7. The rear camera layout will be same as OnePlus7 in OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro and it sees slight change in design in OnePlus 8 Lite; whereas the front camera will now be get punch-hole looks and not water-drop notch. OnePlus gets same button postioning with the power and volume controls on the left and alert slider on the right. It gets the USB-C port in its usual place. And yes, if you are expecting 3.5mm headphone jack, then you are going to be disappointed as the OnePlus 8 also misses it.

The OnePlus 8 series will be featuring 120Hz display refresh rates. OnePlus’ 120Hz display has touch sample rate as of 240Hz and can hit 1,000 nits peak brightness; optimized by Smooth Chain technology as termed by OnePlus. OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro will have considerable memory included as the previous flagships had at least 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

It’s pretty much confirmed that the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will both feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. This will makes both the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro 5G-ready. Also, OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro may get MEMC (Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation) chip which enclosures new frames between existing ones in a video to reduce motion blur. Furthermore, in order to know more about the specifications of OnePlus 8, we must wait its official release .
