OPPO Watch- Oppo’s first smartwatch

 On an event on 6 March, OPPO announced the brand’s first smart watch series OPPO watch currently for the Chinese market. The OPPO watch looks quite similar to the Apple Watch but is considerably thinner.

The watch will be available in two options 46 mm and 41mm version. The 46mm version will get a 1.9-inch AMOLED screen and the 41mm version will get a 1.6-inch screen. The watch is just 4.5mm thick and its quite amazing how OPPO managed to pack cellular connectivity, a battery along with five sensors in it.

The OPPO watch can be used for various purposes like for making a phone call via an eSIM. It can also have its own number or share a phone number with a smartphone that can be used for voice calls and Internet access.  It can also be used for listening to music and making payments. The water resistance level of 46mm is 5ATM, whereas of the 41mm one is at 3ATM only. 

Features

Talking about features, it consists of range of fitness tracking and health monitoring. It has 5 exercise sensors that can monitor a range of exercise scenarios. OPPO watch also monitors heart rate 24×7 and can track user sleep pattern generating a sleep report of the user’s duration of deep sleep and light sleep.

It uses OPPO’s all-new Watch VOOC Flash Charging technology which uses the same battery scheme as OPPO smartphones and ensures safety and also maintains proper charging speed. Company claims that the watch is will have a 40-hour use time on a single charge on smart mode. Whereas, in the power saver mode, the use time is expected to be 21 days as only basic functions like notifications are enabled . As per the company, the watch takes 75 minutes to full charge and can be used for around 18 hours with the 15 minutes of charging.

The watch will be only be available in China for few months after its launch. The date for the official launch of the OPPO watch is still uncertain.
