2020 Yamaha XSR155 Launched In Philippines

Despite the cancellation of the prescheduled launch of XSR155 in May, Yamaha Motor Philippines finally launched the 2020 Yamaha XSR155. The launch event was organized digitally as Philippines restricts the gathering of large crowd due to COVID-19.

The XSR155 gets a 155.1 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox and gets a slipper clutch for smooth transmissions. Furthermore, the engine can produce 14.7 Nm of torque and 19.3 Hp.

Yamaha XSR155 shares its looks with its elder siblings the XSR700 and XSR900. The classic circular LED headlight, circular LED taillight with the rear tail lights on the mud guards are integrated nicely. The delta box frame and the swingarm finished in black further enhances the looks of the XSR155. In spite of its retro looks, LCD display that houses speedometer, trip meter, odometer and fuel gauge. Furthermore, it also displays the average fuel consumption.

The XSR155 gets a decent Fuel capacity of 10 liters. Talking about the suspension, it gets a mono-shock at rear and inverted forks at front.  For the braking, the XSR155 gets dual disc brake, one at front and another at rear.

Though XSR155 is launched in Philippines, it’s not fixed that if the XR155 will be available in Nepal or India.
