After the first data breach of customer’s credit card information in January 2018, OnePlus has suffered another data breach recently. As per the information released by company on Friday 22nd of November,2019; the latest data breach has affected the name, email, number and shipping address in some orders whereas the payment information, passwords and accounts are safe.
According to the OnePlus FAQ page, the data breach happened last week and the company has notified all the affected users via email. Some users can receive spam and phishing emails as the result of the breach.
Also OnePlus said “If you don’t get an email from us, rest assured that your order information is safe. However, if you have further concerns, please contact us at Customer Support for assistance,”.
